  • About Me

Picture
I am ...

a Roboticist: I initially liked Control theory, then was mesmerized by the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics. My goal as a roboticist is to design intelligent robotic systems that can assist people (with disabilities, in rehabilitation, and with emotional and social interactions, etc.) for the well-being of human society.

a Researcher/Engineer/Teacher: It took me quite diverse paths to be who I am now--MS, Industry, PhD, and a faculty currently. It was a long journey, which never ends actually, but it has been definitely a valuable and rewarding time of my life through  which I've learned a lot. Long story short, I love conducting research on robots, still love coding and debugging, and sharing my experience and knowledge with students.

a Husband/Father/Son: I absolutely cannot thank my family enough. My parents, who formed my youth and guided me, my wife, who've supported me and endured with me through my studies abroad, and my adorable kids... The love of my family is the biggest strength in my life.
